Day One: Foundations and Introduction The purpose of the first day is to build a solid foundation in the fundamentals of coffee sensory analysis, understanding green coffee from botany to QC, introduction to roasting concepts, and laying the groundwork for a coffee business. This comprehensive start ensures that all participants are on the same level and fully prepared for the more advanced topics in the coming days. 2. Day Two: Advanced Techniques and Analysis Day two delves deeper into each module, focusing on the intricacies of sensory maintenance, green coffee storage and shipment, advanced roasting techniques including sample roasting and production roasting, and adopting a lean approach to coffee business. The goal of this day is to enhance the participants’ skills through more detailed and complex subjects, preparing them for practical applications. 3. Day Three: Practical Applications and Strategies The third day is dedicated to applying learned concepts in real-world scenarios. This includes balancing sensory attributes, defect cupping in green coffee, matching roasting profiles to production needs, and strategic considerations for sourcing, pricing, and marketing in the coffee business. The emphasis is on hands-on experiences and developing strategies that can be directly applied to the participants’ own coffee ventures. 4. Day Four: Mastery and Business Implementation The final day focuses on refining sensory description skills, making final adjustments in roasting, and covering the essential aspects of business management including finances and accounting. Cancellation Policy

We understand that sometimes things come up and you may need to cancel your attendance at one of our coffee workshops. In order to be fair to our other attendees and our instructors, we have the following cancellation policy in place: Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the workshop date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made between 3-6 days prior to the workshop date will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 3 days prior to the workshop date will not receive a refund. If you need to cancel your attendance, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can make the necessary arrangements. Please note that we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, such as inclement weather or low attendance. In such cases, we will offer a full refund or the option to reschedule to a future workshop.
