One of our core mission is to bridge the gap between tradition and specialty coffee. It's part of our DNA to find creative ways to connect people through coffee. Every workshop is unique and comes with personalized brewing assistance and Q&A. I will start with a short introduction to the history of the ibrik/cezve brewing method and the culture associated with this method. We will introduce the principles behind ibrik/cezve coffee brewing: ratios, grind, water, agitation, pot, heat source, cups, and pouring. We will start by tasting different brew times in order to highlight the importance of timing in this method. After some theory and taste calibration, let's make some coffee. You will learn how to grind, control the heat and pour an ibrik/cezve and adapt your recipes based on the coffee you are using. Finally, we will enjoy and learn more about the coffee ritual.
